Conditions Treated

Acupuncture can treat a wide range of health-related issues.  In fact, the World Health Organization (WHO) has compiled a list of symptoms and conditions for which there is significant research demonstrating acupuncture’s effectiveness or for which there are therapeutic effects, but more proof is needed to establish acupuncture as a mainstream form of treatment. The list of conditions is included below.  Interested readers may go to http://apps.who.int/medicinedocs/pdf/s4926e/s4926e.pdf to read the full report entitled, “Acupuncture: Review and Analysis of Reports on Controlled Clinical Trials.”

Research in acupuncture and Chinese Medicine practices in general is on-going.  New studies and articles demonstrating the benefits of acupuncture are being published all the time.  So if you do not see your condition listed, you’re encouraged to speak with me today to see whether Chinese Medicine can help with your particular issue.
